OROVILLE — Sharon and Bill Cheek, of Oroville, celebrated 65 years of marriage Thursday.
The couple was married June 25, 1955 in Maupin, Oregon.
He graduated from Fresno State in 1960 and worked for Pacific Telephone company for 27 and a half years.
She graduated from San Jose State in 1967 and worked for Pacific Telephone for 20 years.
They have three children; Craig, of Lake Almanor; Derek, of Oroville; and Stacey, of Trophy Club, Texas.
The Cheeks have six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
